      <image:caption>Have you ever arrived home after a long journey or maybe closed your laptop on a finished work project and felt the calming effect of a full deep nourishing breath and then realised it was the first you'd taken all day? The power of the breath can be transformative in improving our physical and emotional state yet so often we forget to use it. A few moments spent focussing on our breath or 'prana' (life force) can be an effective way to calm and energise our body and refocus our mind. It's a self-care method we have with us at all times, a way to nurture &amp; ground ourselves in the moment- a simple way to become fully present.</image:caption>

      <image:title>ABOUT</image:title>
      <image:caption>My love of yoga began over 18 years ago whilst I was living in the South of France. Inspired by the beauty of the natural environment I felt drawn to the practise of yoga, it’s holistic approach and the way in which it encourages the cultivation of compassion towards the environment and towards one another. I am a Yoga Alliance UK Accredited Yoga Teacher with over 7 years teaching experience. I teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Hatha Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation with emphasis on developing a deeper understanding of and connection to self. Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Hatha Flow Yoga helps develop strength and flexibility in the body as well as being a form of moving meditation as each movement is synchronized with your natural rhythm of breath. Yin Yoga is a soothing and revitalising practise based on traditional Chinese medicine. Through long-held postures, Yin stimulates the energetic ‘meridian’ lines in the body and works deeply into the connective tissues and fascia. My Yin classes combine postures with breathwork &amp; meditation against a backdrop of soothing music for a fully immersive practise. A beautiful complement to our often busy lives. Through practice and teaching I have become increasingly aware of the connection between body and mind, of how we can quiet the mind through the body and soothe the body through the mind. I am certified in Indian Head Massage, Facial Massage &amp; Acupressure Massage. The practise of yoga cultivates a sense of inner calm and space, an anchor to the present moment which is important in our fast paced world. I teach 1:1 &amp; group yoga classes in Bath &amp; online. Yoga Retreats in the South of France, Cornwall, Devon &amp; the Cotswolds. I would love to share the practise of yoga with you and look forward to meeting you soon. Carolyn x</image:caption>
